Let's Talk Product Review { Aunt Jackie's curl la la defining curl custard}

Hey my beautiful sisters, let's get right into it. This is my first time trying any type of hair custard, I was browsing through Family Dollar and came across Aunt Jackie's curl la la defining curl custard. At first I wasn't sure if I should try this product because it looked kind of suspect, the ingredient's were a littler off to me. But after seeing some of my fellow curl sisters on Instagram and they results with this product I decided to give it a try.

The consistency feel like some type of grease form , and it smells like the conditioner packet out of a Just For Me relaxer box! So at first I'm like oh hell no (excuse my french) I hope I didn't waste $5, yes I am the cheap queen! The product suppose to define, shape and control curls, waves, coils and braid-outs while adding moisture.

I decided to use the curl custard to define my twist-outs. The first go around, I didn't approve of the result I received . My twist-outs usually be define and fluff at the same time, but it look like my hair was weight down. But the point of trying a product , you have to give it time to work. I tried it a second time the same thing happen I was really disappointed, So i decided to try it with my go to curl creme and finally I receive some amazing results. I also did an wash and go and that didn't do so great.  Overall I give this product two stars, will I purchase this product again? I don't think so!

Pros
work well with other curling cremes
easy slip
no flakes
good for moisturizing
leave hair feeling soft

Cons
unsure ingredient's
smell like a relaxer
does not define curls

First time using the product

Third time using the product with another curl creme

Disclaimers: I'm only going off on my own hair experience, this is just my opinion! Just because it didn't work for my hair, doesn't mean it won't work for your hair. Do what work's for you!!

But until then.....

HAPPY HAIR JOURNEY
